About Your Host
Jeannette leads creative writing workshops and mindfulness meditation sessions for her community online and in person, where she lives with her family in western MA. Jeannette loves to support writers to soften their grip on perfection and trust their voices. She has been practicing meditation for two decades and started bringing her love of mindfulness to her local community five years ago. As a busy mom to two incredible kids, Jeannette discovered that taking a little time away helps her to show up more fully for the people and things she cares about. She hopes you will join her to take some time for yourself this summer.
When she took her first shaky steps into groups as a young person, Jeannette learned a lot about doubt and butterflies in her stomach whenever she wanted to speak. With over 20 years of experience facilitating groups, Jeannette now brings a deep love of facilitation and joy to her work in community with others, and part of her still plans groups for the person who feels nervous to join them! You can expect to feel gently supported in whatever you choose to try during these four days. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to spend time with others this summer at Otyokwa!
