The Measure of Enough: A 10-Week Virtual Writing Workshop Exploring Wanting, Being, and the Space Between

Virtual creative writing group

Mondays: October 13 - December 15

5:30 - 7:30 PM

Online

This workshop is now full! Reach out to be added to the waiting list.

What does it mean to have enough, to do enough—to be enough?

In this 10-week generative writing workshop, you’ll explore what enough means to you by writing, from memory or imagination, about your experiences with abundance and scarcity, belonging and contentment. Using your own stories and questions, and writing in any genre—memoir, fiction, poetry, essay, flash, or hybrid—you’ll craft a final piece that reflects your insights and perspective as you write into the layered spaces between these things.
Your final work will be shared with visual artists who will create original pieces inspired by your writing. Together, the writing and art will be presented in a gallery event at Waterway Arts in Turners Falls, MA in April that highlights the connection between word and image.

I support writers to soften the grip of perfection. I offer playful ways to work with the stuck places. This group is for both new and experienced writers and is an offering aimed at building and supporting a creative community. These groups happen multiple times throughout the year and need a minimum number of participants to run.

Mindful Writing Half-Day

Creative writing and meditation

TBD

10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Online

Do you want to make time for stillness and creativity? Do you wish you had more time to slow down and hear your own voice? I support people to create space for deep listening so we can begin to hold ourselves and our stories with kindness and settle more fully into our lives.

You don't need to consider yourself a writer or a meditator to attend! Mindful writing groups offer short guided meditations followed by time to write. Creative prompts are provided. These groups happen multiple times throughout the year and need a minimum number of participants to run.
